Fit
The BC-05 LOOSE CHINO is a classic chino style with an overall loose fit. Just like our B-04 RELAXED CHINO, the BC-05 is made following a classic methodology, as opposed to the modern take on construction we use for our other chino styles. This involves a lined waistband, felled outseams, and a small coin pocket next to the right-hand front pocket.

Fabric
Chino cloth was developed in the 19th century for the use of military uniforms. As the fabric itself was originally made in China, the trousers made from it were known in Spanish as pantalones chinos (Chinese pants), which then became shortened to ‘chinos’ in English, giving the typical pants their well-known name. Our iteration of this fabric is woven by Collect Mills in Japan, utilising a left hand twill construction for a soft touch. The yarns used to weave the 8.5 oz. fabric are fine, but yet slubby, providing it with a subtle structure.
